We work very hard in our lives, even though we sleep, we hardly ever take the time to rest. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. During this relaxation, all of your body’s systems are benefited. Restorative yoga might be best described as a supported, conscious body/mind relaxation practice.

This type of yoga is for all levels. Be prepared to utilize a lot of props to maximize the experience of the poses. Once you are set up in a supported pose, be prepared to hold the pose for an extended period of time – often ten to twenty minutes. It is a relaxing style of practice that leaves you feeling open and refreshed.
